The roadmap problem teams ignore

Most teams have a roadmap. Most of them are wrong by the time users see them.

Roadmap documents that are outdated the day after they're written
Internal roadmaps users never see, eroding trust
Separate tools for feedback and roadmap that never stay in sync
Users asking 'when will you build X?' with no clear answer

A roadmap that lives where your feedback already does

Because the roadmap is driven by feedback statuses, it never gets out of sync with what your team is actually working on.

Status-driven sync

Your public roadmap updates automatically when you change a request's status in the admin. No separate tool to maintain.

Public three-column view

Users see Now / Next / Exploring — a focused snapshot of what's in flight, what's coming, and what's being considered.

Full Kanban admin board

Internally, all six statuses appear as a Kanban board for your team with full drag-and-drop column management.

Drag-and-drop cards

Reorder and reprioritize roadmap items by dragging them between columns. Status updates save automatically.

Custom domain

Host your public roadmap on your own subdomain (e.g., feedback.yourapp.com) for a seamless branded experience.

Custom branding

Set your logo, primary color, and workspace name so the public roadmap matches your product's look and feel.

Always-on public URL

Every workspace gets a permanent public board URL. Share it in your app, docs, and emails — it never changes.

Vote counts on roadmap

Each roadmap card shows how many users voted for it, giving users visibility into why items are prioritized.

Why teams choose JotReview for their roadmap

Zero maintenance

The roadmap updates itself. Changing a status in your admin is all it takes to keep the public view accurate.

Radical transparency

Users who can see what you're building stay engaged, give better feedback, and churn less.

One source of truth

Your team, your users, and your roadmap all reference the same status data. No versioning conflicts.

Closes the feedback loop

Roadmap items that came from user requests automatically notify voters when they move through statuses.

Your roadmap in three steps

01

Collect feedback with voting

Users submit and vote on requests. Vote counts naturally surface the highest-priority ideas.

02

Update request statuses

As your team plans and builds, update request statuses in the admin. The roadmap updates instantly.

03

Share your public roadmap

Send users to the public board's Roadmap tab. They see Now, Next, and Exploring — always current.

Simple, transparent pricing

The public roadmap is available on every plan, including Free.

Frequently asked questions

What is a product roadmap tool?

A product roadmap tool helps teams plan, communicate, and share what they're building next. JotReview takes this further by connecting the roadmap directly to user feedback — request statuses drive the roadmap automatically so it never falls out of sync.

How does JotReview's roadmap work?

JotReview uses six statuses (Pending, Reviewing, Planned, In Progress, Completed, Closed) to drive both the admin Kanban board and the public roadmap. When you update a status in the admin, the public roadmap updates immediately — no separate editing step.

What does the public roadmap show?

The public roadmap shows a three-column view: Now (In Progress), Next (Planned), and Exploring (Reviewing). This simplified view is designed for end users — enough detail to show direction without exposing your internal planning process.

What does the admin roadmap show?

The admin Kanban board shows all six statuses as columns. Team members can drag cards between columns to update statuses, reorder items within columns, and see vote counts on each card.

Can I host the roadmap on my own domain?

Yes. Business plan customers can configure a custom domain (e.g., feedback.yourapp.com or roadmap.yourapp.com) so the public board and roadmap appear on your own subdomain.

Do users get notified when a roadmap item moves?

Yes. When a request moves to a new status — for example from Planned to In Progress, or from In Progress to Completed — all users who submitted or voted on that request receive an automatic notification.

Can I reorder items within a roadmap column?

Yes. Within the admin Kanban board, items can be reordered by dragging within a column. This lets you indicate relative priority within a status group.

Is the roadmap visible to non-logged-in users?

Yes. The public roadmap tab is accessible without authentication. Anyone with the board URL can view the Now / Next / Exploring columns.

How is JotReview's roadmap different from a standalone roadmap tool?

Standalone roadmap tools require you to manually input and update items. JotReview's roadmap is driven by the same data your team already manages — feedback requests and their statuses. There's nothing to copy over or keep in sync.

Is the roadmap available on the Free plan?

Yes. The public roadmap is included on the Free plan. All paid plans additionally support custom branding, and the Business plan adds custom domain support.
